Don't forget to come to Ci-Ci's between 5:30 and 8:00 tomorrow night to join your chorus friend and support the organization.  Which grade level will boast the most attendance??????

This Week in Music Appreciation

Students in music appreciation completed their first quiz of the quarter on Friday.  We will begin to study the first three periods of music history, Medieval, Renaissance, and Baroque.  Students will become acquainted with the composers, artists, and lifestyle of the times.  

Ci-Cis Pizza- Chorus Night This Thursday

It is time again for another Ci-Ci's Chorus night.  We will see you between 5:30 and 8 this Thursday at the Ci-Ci's on Barrett Pkwy!!!! 

LGPE Choral Festival

Congratulations to all three choirs who participated in LGPE Choral festival this week.  Every group received ratings of superior(I) and excellent (II)!  I am so proud of the students!!  Their dedication, commitment, and pride to/in their groups was apparent over the last two days.  It is a pleasure to work with these fantastic young musicians!!  

LGPE - Men's Chorus Monday 3/23

REMINDER:

A MEN'D CHORUS MEMBERS NEED TO BRING THEIR TUXEDOS TO SCHOOL ON MONDAY MORNING.  STUDENTS WILL REPORT TO THE CHORUS ROOM AT 9:30, CHANGE INTO THEIR TUXEDOS AND BE READY TO BOARD THE BUS AT 10:30.  DO NOT FORGET TO IRON THE TUXEDO AND PACK BLACK SOCKS AND DRESS SHOES.

Men's Chorus Lunch Fees

Tomorrow is the deadline for submitting $6 for Chick-fil-A lunch.  Please note:  Students WILL NOT BE ABLE to purchase their own food at the restaurant. If they do not bring in the $6 by tomorrow they will need to bring a sack lunch from home on Monday.

Pre-Festival Concert 3/17

This is a reminder that all 7th and 8th grade chorus students have a performance tomorrow night at Acworth United Methodist Church.  Students should be dressed in their formal chorus uniforms and seated with their choir at 6pm in the sanctuary.  This is a MANDATORY concert- please contact me with any questions.  

Men's Chorus Lunch Fees

Please remember that there is a $6 lunch for the gentlemen in the Men's Chorus.  We will visit Chick-fil-A before attending LGPE to have lunch.  The restaurant is providing our students with a box lunch that day.

LGPE Information

Parents of students who are in Men's Chorus, 8th Treble Chorus, and 7th Treble Chorus should have received a packet of information regarding the upcoming performances that are happening in March.  If your student has not given you this information as of yet, please inquire about it tonight.  Several students have not returned the signed information and it is now over due.
