MONDAY-FRIDAY: There is not a DGP this week due to the shortened class periods. Each day the students will read a portion of the short story "Flowers for Algernon." They are gathering notes and reflections from this story while they read.

HOMEWORK: Due by Thursday is a compound-complex sentence worksheet. We will have a quiz over this material on Thursday following a class review of the homework. Prizes will be awarded to the first ten students in each class to turn in the assignment.
