Monday-Thursday: This week the students are accessing http://essayscorer.com/ph/ga/bm to type the final draft of their persuasive essays. They can access this site at home with their lunch number and the password cobb10. Each night this week I will try to put feedback on as many of the essays as I can. When students return to class Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday, they will be able to revise and edit according to my feedback. On Thursday, we will print the final and attach the rubric.

Friday: I will have a sub in the classroom on Friday. Please remind your child that all rules and expectations are in place even if I'm not in the room. It is incredibly disappointing to return from an absence to see a list of names left by the substitute. Students who are normally well-behaved for me tend to push the limits with substitutes, and this will not be tolerated. Students will lose ten points on their behavior card if their name is left by the sub.
