Dear Parents,
We need your assistance to keep our students and campus safe in the mornings and in the afternoons. The school building is unlocked and supervision is provided at 8:00 AM each day. Students, therefore, may NOT be dropped off on campus prior to that time. Each day, there are several students waiting (shivering) in the crisp morning air waiting for the doors to open. This creates an unsafe situation for our students.
Conversely, in the afternoons, students are sometimes waiting on campus well after dismissal for parents to pick them up. Students MUST BE PICKED up no later than 4:30. If your child is a car rider, is suspended from the bus, has to take his/her over-sized band instrument home, etc., we require that they leave our campus by 4:30 PM. Again, there is no adult supervision after 4:30, and having students left on campus creates an unsafe situation.
At 4:30 each day, our Safe Rider Supervisor will bring all students left on campus into the building to sign in. Individuals picking students up must park, come into the building, and sign the student out.
