1st period Math Connections:
Today we worked on our warm-ups. This is using the unravel strategy. We continued to review Multi-Step equations.
I use the acronym (People Like Very Cold Soda) It stands for
(P): first. Parenthesis
(Like): Like terms on either side of the equations.
(V): Variable on one side of the equation
(C): Constance or numbers on the otherside of the equation
(S) Make the variable single.
This takes students through the steps of a multi-step equation.
Students should practices this at home and they can do this through the website:

This is the basis of what we will be doing for the rest of the year.
