1st Period math connection:

  Students reviewed for their Unit 7 Test.

5th and 7th Period:  Students finished their tests today.  THey were given a worksheet to finish and if not complete they needed to finish it for homework.

1st period Math Connections:  

Today I only had one student.  

   That student an I went over the Test that was being given in Math class.

3rd, 4th, 5th and 7th Period, 8th Grade Math class:  

    Today students took their Unit 7 system of equations math test.  Since the material is a lot of steps the test was given extra time to complete. They will be finishing the test tomorrow.  So if any student has a question about the material they saw they should take the time tonight to research what they don't understand.

    Students worked on studying for their Test on Monday.  No Homework.

3rd and 4th Carroll's class. 

     Students worked on a warm-up and we reviewed the study guide as a class for the rest of the period.  Students are to use that study guide to study and finish by monday.  This will be collected as a Homework grade.   Test Unit 7 on Monday!!!

1st Period Connections:  

    Today we worked on CRCT Prep Workbook.  This was used to help students work on CRCT, and strengthen test taking skills.

3rd and 4th period:  

    Students worked on reading word problems and creating systems of equations from them.  Today students worked on taking Elimination process and substitution process.  The were given a worksheet for homework and their green study guide is due tomorrow.  The Test has been postponed until Monday!!

5th and 7th:

     Today students worked on their test taking skills on USA Test Prep.  Students individually answer question while getting feed back from the teachers. 

3rd and 4th period:  Mrs. Carroll's class

   Students worked on elimination process for systems of equations.  They were given home work to finish the problems on the back of the worksheet.  They also were given a study guide to work on and this will be checked on Friday for a grade.  Test on Monday!!!!

3rd and 4th period Carroll, Math class:

Today we worked on system of equations using elimination method.  Students took notes and then they were given a homework assignment on the board.

5th and 7th period:

1st Period Connections: My student worked one on one with me in a review of our Unit one Math.  This is an anrea of concern for him.

3rd and 4th Period Mrs. Carroll's class:  Worked in the computer lab on a test.

5th and 7th Period:  Students took notes on addition/ elimination method to system of equations.  No Homework.

  Today we worked on Test Taking Strategies.  We used USA Test Prep and challenged the students to take get the correct answer and explain why they got it correct. 

3rd and 4th Period:  

   Students worked on a quiz.  Then they worked on system of equations and using substitution.  Homework was on the board.  

5th and 7th Period:

    Students worked on a quiz today.  Then we worked on Test Taking Strategies.  We used USA Test Prep and challenged the students to take get the correct answer and explain why they got it correct.  No Homework.

1st period connections:

  Students worked on their warm-up using the unravel stratagies.  Then they helped create a lesson on substitution.  They were able to solve the problems and help scafold the lesson so that others who are struggling with this content could understand the matterial better.

3rd, 4th, 5th and 7th period:

All students worked on a benchmark assessment that is collected and evaluated by the county.  This includes all the material taught in the third nine weeks.

    Students worked on Substitution method for solving systems of equations.  This was just practices. 

3rd and 4th Period Mrs. Carroll's class:

   Students worked on Substitution method for system of equations.   They were assigned homework out of the book.

5th and 7th Period Math Class:

  Students were on substitution method for system of equations.  They had a worksheet on the back of their notes and were assigned to pick 5 problems and solve them.   This can not include problems 1, 2, 4 or 9 since they were done in class.
