1st Period: Students worked on Rational and irrational numbers. Greater and less then, along with placing numbers from least to greatest. Students earned links for their work warm-ups and anything over a 90% is a link.
Students in my 1st, 5th and 7th Period class are all working towards breaking a pinata at the last day of school. The students are helping create the pinata when they have free time. Everyday each student is given two warm-up questions and if they answer them correctly they earn a link on their class chain. The chain with the most links wins the fun to break the pinata. I even place high grades of 90 and above on classwork earns a link. This helps motivate the students. I am accepting candy from parents who would like to donate to fill the pinata. It just needs to be individually wrapped candy.
5th and 7th Period worked on a quiz for Rational and irrational numbers. Greater and less then, along with placing numbers from least to greatest. This is Unit 2 material in which we have been reviewing for the last couple of days. No Homework.
